About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead user-centred design across the full product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery.
Conduct user research, interviews, usability testing and data analysis to uncover customer insights.
Transform research into user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to define, validate and deliver new features and product improvements.
Champion accessibility, usability and interaction design best practices.
Facilitate workshops, design reviews and stakeholder discussions to build alignment and consensus.
Communicate design decisions confidently, using research and data to support recommendations.
Contribute to and evolve our design system and visual language.
Use qualitative and quantitative insights to measure success and continuously improve the user experience.
Balance speed and quality, making thoughtful design trade-offs to deliver value quickly within an Agile environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant experience designing digital products for web and mobile platforms.
A strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, interaction design and visual design expertise.
Experience planning and conducting user research and translating findings into actionable design solutions.
Strong prototyping skills using modern design tools.
Deep understanding of accessibility standards, information architecture and usability principles.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working within Agile product teams alongside Product Managers and Engineers.
The ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive user experiences.
Strong prioritisation skills and the confidence to make informed design decisions and trade-offs.
Experience contributing to design systems and establishing design standards.
