About the role

  • Support client by delivering exceptional sales through planning, sales execution, compliance, and reporting
  • Work both from home and in the field to engage with customers and achieve agreed sales targets
  • Manage a defined geographic territory selling directly to SME and SOHO customers
  • Work smartly to maximise sales opportunities between home and field selling
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sale targets
  • Develop and tightly manage customer pipeline
  • Generate referrals daily to secure face-to-face presentations to decision-makers
  • Update CRM daily to ensure all information is correct and accurate
  • Work to the highest compliance levels and complete applications accurately on behalf of the customer
  • Maintain knowledge of new and existing products and competitor offerings and provide competitor feedback and industry insight
  • Represent CPM and Vodafone professionally and sell solutions that deliver value to both the customer and Vodafone
  • Ensure activities comply with internal and external compliance guidelines
  • Undertake other duties as instructed by line manager

Requirements

  • Experience in a field sales role, in the Business and/or Utilities sector
  • Competent IT Skills. Be comfortable working with Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook
  • Full driving licence and own vehicle
  • Suitable home working environment including high quality, reliable broadband
  • F2F sales experience within the Telecoms market is desirable
  • Understanding of the Vodafone portfolio and wider telecoms market
  • Awareness of the Irish Business Arena at local and national levels to maintain the pipeline
  • Experience with using a CRM tool
  • Strong focus on results and achieving targets daily, weekly, and monthly
  • Work on own initiative and continually look for ways to improve sales performance
  • Positive mindset interacting with customers, colleagues, and client
  • Teamwork orientated individual able to share best practices and add to a positive team dynamic
  • Strong analysis and judgement skills to prioritise and focus on the best opportunities
  • Self-motivation and drive to deliver consistent results
  • Demonstrate a belief in the importance of the customer and a willingness to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create and build positive customer relationships
  • Strong written skills for preparing proposals to customers and feedback to management/client
