Key responsibilities & impact

Manage day-to-day construction services projects, ensuring work remains on schedule, within budget, aligned with project controls requirements, and responsive to client expectations.
Coordinate and oversee project staff, field inspection personnel, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to support efficient project execution and quality assurance.
Monitor project financial performance, staffing allocation, resource utilization, project variance, and profitability metrics while supporting corrective actions when necessary.
Maintain client relationships and support business development efforts through responsive communication, operational support, and participation in proposals and opportunity development activities.
Support staff development, operational workflows, project controls compliance, mentoring, training, and QA/QC procedures and best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, construction inspection, field operations, or related construction services roles
Experience managing complex construction projects involving contractor oversight, schedule management, budgeting, QA/QC coordination, and client communication
Strong understanding of construction administration, project controls, field documentation, operational workflows, and construction sequencing
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, field personnel, subcontractors, clients, and external stakeholders across multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency with construction management and project tracking platforms such as Ajera, Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and related operational systems
Experience supporting public infrastructure, utility, municipal, commercial, industrial, or federal construction projects preferred
Experience with project financial management, including budgets, utilization, WIP, A/R, variance, and profitability tracking preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or construction management certifications preferred
