About the role
- Architect and build scalable features for the Cozey Operating System (COS), including in-house platforms that replace third-party tools, and AI-driven agents that automate warehouse workflows for greater efficiency, control, and long-term impact
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, product, and design teams to deeply understand pain points and rapidly deliver high-impact solutions
- Own projects end-to-end, from technical design and architectural decisions to hands-on implementation, deployment, and continuous improvement
- Drive architectural decisions that balance short-term priorities with long-term scalability and vision
- Mentor and support engineers in the team, raise the technical bar, and advocate for pragmatic engineering best practices that enable high-velocity and high-quality shipping
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and scaling web applications, with an emphasis on intuitive end-user experiences and long-term maintainability
- Able to think holistically about systems, with the ability to confidently evaluate trade-offs and make sound technical decisions
- Extensive experience in strongly typed, object-oriented or TypeScript-like languages
- Clear and effective communicator, capable of collaborating across both technical and non-technical teams
- Strong believer in testing culture – prioritizes unit and end-to-end testing
- Deep appreciation for clean code, code reviews, and documentation
- Have a pragmatic mindset — able to balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability, while managing technical debt thoughtfully
