About the role

  • Implement and own the end-to-end data stack and process at Cozey
  • Collaborate with all departments to understand their data requirements and business needs
  • Set-up and manage ETL/ELT processes for data collection, transformation, and integration from various sources
  • Architect and manage our data warehouse to ensure it meets organizational needs
  • Establish and oversee our reporting and business intelligence systems to support data-driven decision-making

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in creating, building, and owning of a new data stack
  • 5+ years’ experience in data modeling and data warehousing with platforms like AWS Redshift or Athena
  • Proficiency with ELT tools such as Fivetran, AWS Glue, and Apache Airflow
  • Proficiency with ETL tools—we use AWS Glue, Step Functions, funnel.io
  • Advanced skills in Python and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and automation
  • Version control (Github, Gitlab) workflows and CI/CD
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CDK)
  • Expertise in BI and visualization tools, such as Tableau
  • Understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Experience with AWS, including services like S3, and Redshift
