About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the day-to-day operations and continued growth of the Subrogation business unit in partnership with chairs, attorneys, paralegals, technical coordinators, recovery analysts, and internal and external teams
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational, claims, recovery, matter, and financial workflows and provide recommendations to leadership
  • Lead end-to-end execution of complex claims, attorney journaling, case management, accounting, invoicing, reporting, and operational initiatives
  • Plan, govern, implement, resolve issues, and stabilize applications and services after release
  • Drive the Subrogation delivery model, including reporting, fee projections, quarterly releases, claims processing support, and vendor coordination
  • Establish timelines, dependencies, risks, escalation paths, and accountability mechanisms
  • Support process improvement, solution design, and delivery oversight for claims management and matter lifecycle processes
  • Support SaaS, cloud, AI-enabled, on-premises, custom software, data services, and related integrations
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain Subrogation KPIs and coordinate executive-ready reporting
  • Assist with audit and compliance activities, including SOC1, encryption, ISO certification, and governance requirements
  • Promote documentation, risk management, release quality, control execution, and operational consistency
  • Prepare and present executive readouts, business updates, and operational insights to clients and stakeholders
  • Participate occasionally in client meetings, sales efforts, and business development activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Finance, Project Management, Legal Operations, or a related discipline
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in program management, PMO, business operations, legal operations, claims-related environments, insurance, or professional services
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
  • Strong business acumen and experience partnering with senior leadership to drive execution, improve operations, and support strategic growth
  • Knowledge of claims management systems, matter lifecycle workflows, and related operational processes
  • Understanding of finance, escrow, accounts receivable/accounts payable processing, fee projections, and SaaS-based business application integrations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing materials and presenting to leadership and clients
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities, develop business-focused recommendations, and drive completion
  • MBA strongly preferred
  • PMP or comparable program/project management certification preferred
  • Experience in subrogation, legal services, claims operations, insurance, or professional services environments preferred
  • Familiarity with audit, security, and compliance frameworks, including SOC, ISO, and related operational controls
