About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver educational and consulting content onsite and through virtual training sessions to Cox Auto Dealer Solutions Software customers
  • Complete paperwork, agendas, and documentation daily
  • Complete training/certification in the assigned domain
  • Train customers on all products in the assigned domain and build/adapt basic consultative training strategies
  • Deliver onsite and virtual instruction for new installs and functional areas to drive product utilization and potential revenue impact
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Dealer Software Solution products, settings, features, benefits, and functionality
  • Partner with the Manager on performance reviews and development opportunities
  • Customize training curricula and consulting to dealer needs
  • Demonstrate system functionality and answer dealership questions
  • Troubleshoot product-domain questions and issues
  • Create customized training plans with dealer leadership and advise on software/hardware needs
  • Participate in product development and enhancement review sessions as a domain subject matter expert
  • Communicate and record dealership training documentation, reports, recaps, support tickets, and other training communications
  • Stay current on automotive trends and best practices
  • Schedule travel according to department and company guidelines
  • Travel nationwide weekly, with four overnight travel days and one remote work day

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Automotive industry and/or dealership experience required
  • Bookkeeping and/or Accounting experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree + 2+ years related work experience required OR Master’s Degree and up to 2 year’s of related work experience OR 6+ years of related work experience and no degree
  • Comfortable with extensive travel – 100% travel is required
  • A valid U.S. driver's license is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 2+ years training experience in a retail/accounting automotive setting preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, Dealertrack DMS, Xtime Spectrum, VinSolutions, and Dealer.com preferred
  • Must live near a major airport
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
  • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in future
  • Must clear a pre-employment drug test
