About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee delivery and support for process excellence
- Engage business leaders to anticipate business needs and drive decision-making through process improvements, best practices, continuous improvement, metrics, and end-to-end process governance
- Lead Cox Fleet process design, improvement, standardization, and optimization across the business
- Support strategic transformation initiatives, including acquisitions, integrations, and executive-sponsored projects
- Develop plans, drive objectives, collaborate with business stakeholders, and align resources
- Execute day-to-day activities of Cox Fleet transformation programs
- Identify efficiencies and optimize people, process, and technology solutions across Cox Fleet functions
- Lead benchmarking studies and competitive intelligence assessments, including ongoing target setting
- Partner with Business Intelligence teams to build metrics and performance-management strategy and culture
- Design and embed continuous process-improvement and end-to-end process-assessment approaches
- Own process standards covering data, reporting, systems security, compliance, controls, change management, and process excellence
- Drive governance and business-partner relationships with internal stakeholders
- Develop and implement group goals, policies, priorities, and procedures with Operations and other stakeholders
- Govern, prioritize, and adjudicate technology enhancements and support the roadmap of solutions with Technology
- Work with internal and external auditors as needed
- Perform special projects as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 8 years of relevant experience; alternatives include a master’s degree and 6 years’ experience, a Ph.D. and 3 years’ experience, or 12 years’ experience in a related field
- 7+ years of experience with consulting, continuous improvement, project management, or other relevant disciplines highly preferred
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate at the highest levels of corporate management
- Experience with continuous improvement and project management
- Experience driving organizational change, including large-scale transformation initiatives
- Proven track record leading high-performing teams with tight deadlines and improving efficiencies
- Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service
- Demonstrated financial analysis strength
- Experience managing large-scale, high-volume systems and multiple functions
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Must be open to travel around 25%, with additional travel if necessary
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test
- Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship
- No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Six Sigma Green Belt and/or PMP is a plus
