About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the productivity and quality of a team of Mobile Inspectors
- Partner closely with the Dispatch and Quality Assurance teams within Manheim Mobile Inspections
- Ensure inspector adherence to established inspection processes, including documentation of all required disclosures and photos
- Monitor inspection quality through digital and in-person audit reviews
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train Mobile Inspectors within the assigned area
- Provide coaching and corrective actions and discipline as necessary
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners
- Coordinate with boundary partners, including Sales, Auction, and Remote Dealer Services teams
- Provide quality service and interact with automotive dealers to resolve issues
- Conduct vehicle inspections and floorplan audits as needed
- Review work volumes and continuously monitor staffing levels
- Coach, develop, and empower team members while creating a cohesive team environment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years relevant experience in related field
- One year’s experience in leading teams preferred
- Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment
- Experience with mobile inspections and/or floorplan audits preferred
- Previous body shop, mechanical, or estimating experience preferred
- Displays a general understanding of frame and body repairs and mechanical knowledge
- Technical and computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, scheduling & routing software, and vehicle inspection applications
- Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills
- Self-motivated and can motivate others
- Excellent organizational skills, customer-focused, proactive, and team-oriented
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to set priorities and solve problems
- Ability to work with remote supervision, and to supervise remote employees
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
