About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build and support high-impact software solutions for the automotive industry’s leading digital marketing platform
- Collaborate with engineers and AI agents, leveraging modern technologies and best practices
- Architect, develop, and maintain robust software applications across multiple platforms
- Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to understand user challenges and design high-quality solutions
- Lead and participate in Agile planning, story sizing, backlog grooming, and release planning
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to peers and junior engineers
- Define and uphold coding standards, review practices, and ethical guidelines for AI use
- Implement and support AI-powered features and pipelines
- Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of deployed products
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, and 4 years’ experience in a related field; or Master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 16 years’ experience in a related field
- 5–8 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing highly scalable, high-volume software systems and client-facing web applications
- Familiarity with front end development practices and integration with back-end technologies (APIs / REST)
- Proficiency in multiple technology stacks (e.g., Java, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle methodologies (Agile, iterative) and database technologies
- Experience with AI-powered software development, prompt engineering, and collaborating with AI agents is highly desirable
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, microservices, and modern DevOps practices
- Scrum Developer Certification or equivalent is a plus
- Availability for rotational on-call duties outside of standard business hours may be required
