About the role
- Gains familiarity with Product Management concepts, practices, and methodologies
- Perform standard Product Manager duties with guidance, including client and market research for product-related evaluation and planning
- Conduct analysis and research to understand customer, market, and product application information
- Support team efforts to develop and refine product vision and functional requirements
- Engage with technical, product and other colleagues on product design, project planning, development, release, and execution
- Prepare and distribute project status updates and conduct post-project evaluation
- Partner with Product Manager to provide input into business case documentation and understand roadmap/KPIs
Requirements
- Masters Degree in related field (in progress)
- Working knowledge of Product specialty/job area, principles, concepts, and practices
- Strong writing ability
- Experience in design, development and implementation of product plans
- Experience in full product lifecycle methodologies
- Experience in conducting competitive research and analysis
- Some experience in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
