About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Marketing Support Specialist is responsible for coordinating the production and implementation of marketing plans/campaigns for the assigned location.
- At the direction of the Marketing Manager, execute marketing campaigns to address auction and client needs, ensuring Manheim brand alignment and accuracy.
- Plans and executes marketing tactics within the location including print, displays, and signage.
- Assists in managing auction social media sites to drive awareness to auction sales and events and creatively engage both current and prospective clients.
- Contribute ideas and insights into the development of a year-long event sale calendar.
- Track results of all marketing campaigns and make adjustments to future campaigns based on results.
- Utilize Manheim tools to execute marketing plans including graphic design requests, existing editable templates and company intranet site.
- Execute necessary sale day preparations/responsibilities as directed by leadership including but not limited to client engagement, promotion/incentive execution, giveaway tracking, etc.
- Travel as required by corporate marketing and auction leadership.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum: High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of marketing and customer service experience.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products and layout/design software (e.g., Adobe, Canva).
- Strong computer skills with foundational graphic arts knowledge.
- Ability to thrive in a high‑performance, fast‑paced team environment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight time constraints.
- Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a constantly changing work environment.
- Preferred: Degree in marketing, communications, or business preferred.
- Experience supporting social media platforms, including creating or posting content and assisting with ongoing social media activities.
- Experience assisting with events, promotions, or on‑site activities.
- Automotive experience.
