About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver cloud solutions across client engagements including assessments, migrations (rehost, replatform, refactor), and modernization initiatives
- Implement Azure environments aligned to security, compliance, performance, and cost optimization best practices
- Partner with Solution Architects to translate designs into scalable, executable solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during implementation and deployment
- Support transition of client environments to Managed Services, including documentation, diagrams, and knowledge transfer
- Contribute to automation, process improvements, and internal capability development within the Professional Services team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field
- Strong client-facing and consultative experience in addition to hands-on delivery
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure, networking, identity, and governance (IaaS, PaaS, Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Policies)
- Proven experience migrating workloads to Azure using tools such as Azure Migrate, ASR, or similar
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, (ARM/Bicep a plus)
- Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Azure CLI)
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
- Systems administration experience across Windows and/or Linux
- At least one Associate, Expert, or Specialty-level certificate on Azure
- Ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity and automation
- Preferred working knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes (AKS or similar)
- Experience with rehost, replatform, and refactor migration strategies
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
- DevOps Engineer Expert, AI Engineer, or any Data-related certifications is desirable
- Exposure to AWS or GCP
- Experience with AIML services and tools for building custom solutions on Azure
- Experience with Data and analytics services on Azure (Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake, Databricks)
