About the role
- Receive guidance and coaching from day one.
- Coordinate and validate customer returns and claims.
- Review customer claims to verify compliance with policies and guidelines.
- Investigate basic cases or those requiring prescriptive decision-making.
- Interface with departments involved in complaints during fact-finding and investigative phases.
- Use resources to facilitate inspections, documentation, and communication for resolutions.
- Evaluate claims by obtaining, comparing, evaluating, and validating information.
- Prepare communication for resolution via telephone, email, and in-person discussions.
- Mediate disputes and negotiate solutions to keep sold vehicles.
- Maintain accurate files for arbitration cases, verifying documentation accuracy.
- Engage with supervisor/manager for potential escalations.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Less than 2 years of related experience
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt in a fluid and changing environment
- Preferred: 1+ years of automotive or body shop experience
- Preferred: Claims adjuster experience
