About the role

  • Own new client acquisition and revenue generation across your market and beyond
  • Build and manage a personal pipeline from first meeting through close
  • Consistently convert relationships into signed consulting engagements
  • Forecast revenue accurately and operate with full transparency around pipeline activity
  • Expand CCN’s presence by building relationships with mid-market and PE-backed companies
  • Identify and pursue opportunities where CCN’s consulting model delivers outsized value
  • Lead consultative conversations with senior finance and accounting leaders
  • Diagnose business and accounting challenges and scope tailored consulting solutions
  • Serve as a trusted advisor who simplifies complex issues and drives action
  • Develop partnerships with private equity firms, industry networks, and finance leaders
  • Represent CCN through networking events, panels, and community engagement
  • Partner closely with CCN’s recruiting and leadership teams to ensure successful engagements and delighted consultants

Requirements

  • CPA license or 7+ years of progressive accounting experience required
  • Experience advising, supporting, or partnering with senior finance leaders (CFOs, Controllers, PE partners)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical finance needs into business solutions
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, or advisory environments preferred
  • Strong interest in business development, relationship-building, and revenue ownership
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the discipline and accountability to drive results independently
  • Mission-driven with a genuine desire to elevate the consulting experience for both clients and consultants
