About the role
- Responsibility for the technical property management of special-purpose buildings with a focus on the hotel sector, acting as the owner’s representative
- Budget planning, monitoring and reporting in close coordination with European asset management
- Management, analysis (including energy assessments) and implementation of technical measures in accordance with HOAI, fire protection and ESG requirements
- Preparation, review and management of Technical Due Diligence (TDD) reports
- Coordination and handling of insurance claims
- Monitoring of maintenance and expert inspections (SV inspections)
- Technical assessment and documentation of properties, including data room maintenance and support in acquisition and disposal processes
- Regular site inspections nationwide with a focus on verifying tenants’ compliance with lease obligations
- Primary contact for tenants on operational and technical matters
- Close coordination with internal specialist departments, especially Asset Management
- Close coordination with external service providers and advisors, e.g., engineering firms, lawyers, surveyors/experts
- Ensuring transparent and professional communication among all project stakeholders (partly in English)
Requirements
- University degree in civil engineering, architecture or a comparable qualification, or a completed technical apprenticeship
- Several years of professional experience in technical real estate management, ideally in the hotel or special-purpose property sector
- Very good knowledge of HOAI; good knowledge of iTWO desirable
- Proficient user of MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Excellent German and English skills, spoken and written
- Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking and a high degree of personal responsibility
- Strong communication skills and a confident presence
- Willingness to travel within Germany
