About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Actioning leads generated through our CRM, website, and email campaigns
  • Proactively contacting customers from inbound leads and arranging product demonstrations
  • Managing the full sales cycle, including closing deals and negotiating terms
  • Connecting with key stakeholders across the Provet distribution business to foster collaboration and share leads
  • Reviewing key lead and lag metrics to track performance and measure success
  • Meeting and exceeding defined sales and revenue targets
  • Representing Covetrus at key industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a Business Development Specialist

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated experience in sales and business development, ideally within the technology or SaaS industry
  • A motivated, driven, and resilient personality with a strong desire to succeed
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on results
  • Some people leadership experience (preferred but not essential)
