About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Set up and operate the laminator machine to meet customer specifications and quality standards
Ensure that the workplace is tidy, clean, orderly, and according to 5s standards
Participate in continuous improvement by observing waste reduction opportunities and acting on them when applicable
Provide break cover to increase department overall performance
Set up and operate a variety of machinery and ancillary equipment
Monitor and maintain product specifications carrying out online adjustments as required
Accurately complete all production paperwork in a timely manner
Carry out quality tests and measurements and implement required corrective actions
Participate in hygiene and other audits
Assisting with machine changeovers
Assisting with day to day work-place organisation, planning, and machine optimisation
Holiday cover where required
Training of operators where appropriate
