Key responsibilities & impact- Drive growth, profitability and value creation across the DACH region
- Define and implement the regional sales strategy
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales team
- Build strong partnerships with customers, production sites and internal stakeholders
- Deliver revenue and profit plans aligned with overall strategy and sustainability targets
- Set budgets and forecasts and proactively manage variances
- Identify new business opportunities, products and market segments
- Lead engagement with customers, retailers and machine suppliers
- Translate market insights into new solutions and commercial opportunities
- Lead major tenders and negotiations across the region
- Ensure customer and plant-level profitability
- Strengthen market intelligence and competitive positioning
- Foster a performance-oriented culture with clear targets and accountability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven track record in B2B technical sales leadership
- Preferably experience in flexible packaging, extrusion, printing or converting technologies
- Strong record of delivering growth and profitability across complex, multi-market environments (e.g., beverages, industrial, consumer goods)
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution
- Leadership presence with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams
- Strong commercial and technical acumen, able to align market needs with production capabilities
- Fluent in English and German
