About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Under broad supervision, analyzes customer business needs and participates in the planning, design and implementation of new or enhanced systems.
  • Develop innovative instructional programs and materials that align with organizational goals and learner needs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and relevancy of training content.
  • Conduct thorough Training Needs Assessments and Audience Analyses to identify learning objectives and performance gaps.
  • Design, develop and maintain comprehensive, 508-compliant instructional materials.
  • Create online, interactive training materials in various formats, including printable job aids and eLearning courses.
  • Generate SCORM-compliant webinars and microlearning courses using eLearning authoring tools.
  • Develop and administer a variety of assessments to measure learner progress and comprehension.
  • Analyze assessment data to evaluate the effectiveness of instructional programs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Instructional Design, Education, Training and Development, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
  • Experience with instructional design methodologies (e.g. ADDIE, Kirkpatrick’s Level of assessments, adult learning principles).
  • Experience with SCORM-compliant course development and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Strong understanding of 508-compliance requirements and best practices for creating accessible learning materials.
  • Expertise in designing and developing comprehensive instructional materials.
  • Ability to create online, interactive training materials in various formats.
  • Experience in developing and administering a variety of assessments and analyzing assessment data.
