About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide exceptional service by supporting bilingual members through in-person, phone, and digital interactions
  • Interpret conversations, assist with accounts, and ensure every member feels understood, confident, and valued
  • Answer questions and guide members through financial solutions
  • Serve as an interpreter between credit union employee and bilingual members
  • Provide assistance to online, mobile, and phone banking users by resetting passwords or unlocking accounts
  • Address bill pay inquiries and resolutions, assist with cross account access, and verification of deposits
  • Perform all job functions with a high degree of accuracy, efficiency and professionalism
  • Find a successful balance between achieving individual productivity, job performance, and service goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass credit union fluency testing and maintain working knowledge of English and secondary language
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience as interpreter preferred
  • A minimum of 1 years’ related experience or an Associate’s Degree
  • General knowledge of the credit union and its services preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows Software programs
