About the role
- Provides translation and interpreter assistance as needed between credit union employees and bilingual members
- Field phone calls, voicemails, e-mails, and online messages
- Assist online, mobile, and phone banking users with passwords, bill pay, deposits, and more
- Deliver exceptional service while building strong member relationships
- Refer members to other credit union products and services when appropriate
- Provide efficient and professional service to members
- Maintain member confidentiality
- Follow a rotating schedule covering Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with Saturday shifts
Requirements
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a service or sales related capacity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to be organized, efficient, and accurate in a fast-paced work environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows software programs
- Minimum of 1 year's experience as an interpreter is preferred
