About the role
- Provides translation and interpreter assistance between credit union employees and bilingual members
- Fields phone calls, voicemails, e-mails, and online messages
- Assists online, mobile, and phone banking users with various inquiries
- Delivers exceptional service while building strong member relationships
- Refers members to other credit union products and services when appropriate
- Maintains member confidentiality
Requirements
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a service or sales related capacity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Ability to be organized, efficient, and accurate in a fast-paced work environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows software programs
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an interpreter preferred
