About the role
- Driving organisation‑wide Business Continuity planning to ensure we can withstand and recover from major disruptions.
- Challenging teams to keep Business Impact Assessments current, define critical processes, and set clear recovery objectives.
- Maintaining up‑to‑date Business Continuity documentation across all Covéa sites.
- Leading a risk‑based testing programme that uncovers vulnerabilities and drives rapid improvement.
- Building an active community of Business Continuity Champions who promote resilience across the business.
- Creating engaging training that embeds strong continuity practices.
- Delivering clear assurance reporting with key metrics, risks, and recommended actions.
- Supporting disruption response by guiding teams on recovery priorities.
- Contributing to audits and continually strengthening Covea’s Business Continuity framework.
Requirements
- Experience in Business Continuity, crisis management, or a related field, with strong knowledge of BC principles and frameworks.
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies.
- Financial or insurance sector experience preferred.
- Strong communication and confident stakeholder management.
- Ability to build trusted relationships and positively influence teams across the organisation.
- Solid understanding of governance frameworks and risk management.
- Drive to continually enhance Business Continuity capability.
- Sharp analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to stay focused under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
- Good grasp of Disaster Recovery concepts, including failover and backup approaches.
- Understanding of the Financial Services regulatory landscape.
- Certifications such as CBCP, BCCP, MBCI (or similar) are desirable but not essential.
