About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Follow the payroll calendar timelines to prepare accurate inputs and validate new hire information.
- Review and validate payroll outputs and ensure 100% accuracy.
- Coordinate approvals with the payroll manager and manage vendor communications.
- Complete trackers and manage timely statutory payments.
- Manage year-end filings and support for tax forms.
- Ensure timely updates to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Partner closely with HR to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5–7 years of recent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in modern payroll systems, service desk tools, and MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.).
- Proven knowledge of Czechia and EMEA payroll (Czechia, Croatia, Poland, UK, Germany, France), labor laws, taxation, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines while maintaining data confidentiality.
- Highly detail-oriented with a passion for numerical accuracy and data integrity.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
