About the role
- Provide technical and functional expertise during the sales process
- Demonstrate how Coupa can meet and exceed prospect business needs with measurable value
- Provide technical understanding of products and discuss/demo architecture and integration
- Conduct platform demonstrations, RFP assistance, IT workshops, training, presentations, and document creation
- Act as subject matter expert and provide sales insights to salespeople and prospects
- Manage accounts with 50-75% travel
- Help grow Coupa as leader in Business Spend Management
- Collaborate to share and scale knowledge across the organization
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in systems applications selling or implementation
- Source-to-Pay or eProcurement experience is desired
- Expense Management experience is a plus
- Experience with Software as a Service is a plus
- Experience with financial accounting, customer management, and sales force automation software is a plus
- Previous solution consulting experience with Ariba, Ivalua, Concur, NetSuite, Great Plains, Oracle, or SAP
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience configuring and delivering software demonstrations
- Deliver high-quality presentations and demonstrations to key decision makers
- Demonstrate detailed knowledge of at least one area of spend management
- Hands-on experience with application configuration or customization
- Ability to lead discovery sessions with prospects to map requirements to functionality
- Track record of sharing and publishing knowledge and/or mentoring peers
