About the role

  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Functional Testing, Automation Testing, System & Release Test Planning, Regression Testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), Test Case Creation & Redesign, Test Report Generation.
  • Automation & Frameworks: Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Cucumber, Selenium, Capybara.
  • Programming & Tools: Ruby on Rails, Maven, Web Services, Kafka, Grafana, Jenkins, GitHub, Postman, TestRail, Salesforce, JIRA.
  • Process & Methodology: Agile/Scrum, Sprint Planning and Execution, Bug Life Cycle Management, Problem-Solving, Analytical Skills.
  • Enhanced existing automation frameworks, continuously exploring and implementing new tools and technologies to expand automation coverage and efficiency.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Authoring comprehensive system and release test plans, defining scope, objectives, and test strategies; executing automated test suites and manual testing; publishing detailed test reports for internal teams and external customers.
  • Quality and Defect Management: Identifying, documenting, and logging product bugs in Salesforce; working with developers and Quality Engineers to design targeted test cases; preparing and integrating test suites with TestRail.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for customers; communicating technical issues and project updates to team members and customers; partnering with developers and product managers during sprint planning and execution.

Requirements

  • Highly experienced and results-driven Software Automation Engineer with over 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks.
  • Proven expertise in functional and automation testing, with a strong background in creating and managing release test plans for complex systems.
  • Adept at identifying and logging product defects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality, customer-facing test reports.
  • Experience with Functional Testing, Automation Testing, System & Release Test Planning, Regression Testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), Test Case Creation & Redesign, Test Report Generation.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Cucumber, Selenium, Capybara.
  • Programming & Tools: Ruby on Rails, Maven, Web Services, Kafka, Grafana, Jenkins, GitHub, Postman, TestRail, Salesforce, JIRA.
  • Process & Methodology: Agile/Scrum, Sprint Planning and Execution, Bug Life Cycle Management, Problem-Solving, Analytical Skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) for a customer.
  • The ability to prepare, publish, and share test reports with customers.
  • Able to drive customer call, propose new test case suites, understand customers regression test cases, able to present test summary report and all testing activities.
