About the role
- Manage end-to-end revenue processes and ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606
- Review complex sales arrangements and assist with multi-element allocations
- Support month-end close, perform account reconciliations and revenue/deferred revenue analysis
- Generate customer invoices and credit memos; investigate and resolve billing adjustments and inquiries
- Maintain customer records and manage sales orders in NetSuite
- Support M&A activities related to revenue, including integration efforts and documentation
- Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, including documentation, testing, and supporting year-end audits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of software revenue accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Solid understanding of financial statements
- Proficient in account reconciliation, problem-solving, and analytical thinking
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, self-driven approach
- Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with NetSuite and Salesforce (SFDC) preferred
- Big 4 public accounting experience is a plus
