  • The Impact of a Senior Software Engineer, Applied AI at Coupa: As a Senior Software Engineer in Applied AI, you will help design and build Coupa’s agentic AI platform, convert and adapt Coupa’s core offerings for AI discovery and execution, design and build Coupa’s AI product offerings and features, design and build the associated data systems, MCP servers, tools, and drive adoption of AI across technical teams. You will collaborate with Product and Development teams to build new features and find creative and elegant solutions to complex problems. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will offer advice and review of designs and implementations and mentor others, breaking down information systematically.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Python and web technologies (Django, Flask, FastAPI)
  • Strong software architecture skills
  • Strong understanding of the core principles of machine learning
  • Experience building large scale applications
  • Experience with front end technologies (Javascript, React, CSS)
  • Experience with use of LLMs as logic engines in applications
  • Experience with technical mentoring or teaching others
