  • The Impact of a Senior Software Engineer - Analytics Applications at Coupa: You will design and develop scalable, high-performance web applications that power advanced analytics across Coupa’s platform. By building secure API-driven backend services and crafting interactive, data-rich frontends, you’ll enable users to visualize and act on complex datasets with ease. Your leadership in building end-to-end data ingestion pipelines and orchestrating microservices will ensure reliable, efficient data flows and robust application performance at scale. Collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams, you will transform complex business requirements into innovative solutions that drive data-driven decision-making and enhance user experience.

Requirements

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable web applications for analytics, leading both frontend and backend development.\n
  • Architect, build, and manage API-driven services to support complex analytics applications, ensuring secure and efficient data access.\n
  • Implement sophisticated user interfaces that effectively visualize large datasets and provide highly interactive experiences.\n
  • Lead the development of end-to-end data ingestion pipelines to integrate with diverse, complex data sources and services.\n
  • Direct data modeling, microservice orchestration, and platform architecture to optimize application performance and reliability at scale.\n
  • Drive collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into advanced functional applications and system designs.\n
  • 5+ years of senior software engineering experience building scalable web applications in fast-paced B2B SaaS environments.\n
  • Proven expertise in backend development with Ruby on Rails, Python/Django, or Java/Spring, and frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.\n
  • Deep understanding of complex application architectures, distributed systems, and advanced software development principles.\n
  • Strong experience with data-driven applications, working with structured/unstructured data, stream processing, and big data storage.\n
  • Skilled in designing secure, scalable APIs (REST, GraphQL), database optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and CI/CD workflows.\n
  • Proficient with Git, automated testing frameworks, and modern DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment.
