Lead and oversee the Analytics Engineering team, including analytics engineers and Tableau developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members
Build and scale a high-performing analytics function that delivers reliable, scalable data products to support business needs

Drive the design and implementation of robust data models that support a hybrid reporting structure (governed self-service reporting)

Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines, transformations, and semantic layers

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of analytics projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
Enable governed self-service analytics by building intuitive, well-documented data products
Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the analytics engineering team
Monitor and ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of analytics solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data pipelines
Oversee Tableau development efforts and dashboard design to uncover insights and drive data-driven decision-making
Ensure data visualization best practices and governance standards are followed across all reporting deliverables
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
10+ years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, or data management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing high-performing analytics teams
Expert-level proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and optimization (required)
Strong experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling (required)
Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and reporting
Deep understanding of Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools such as Fivetran, Stitch, or Airflow
Experience building and maintaining dimensional models, metrics layers, and semantic frameworks
Strong understanding of analytics engineering principles, including data modeling, data quality, and testing frameworks
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on technical work with strategic leadership responsibilities.
