About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You are the second sales hire at Coup and part of our Revenue team, which includes Marketing, Sales and Partnerships.
  • You report directly to our CRO, Theresa, and work closely with our Account Executive, Maxi, as well as our R&D Consulting team.
  • Establish scalable new customer acquisition through systematic development of our outbound channels and disciplined pipeline management.
  • Outbound development & pipeline ownership: You independently develop sequences, playbooks and templates for cold email, LinkedIn and cold calling and execute them yourself.
  • Sales calls & qualification: You consistently bring leads into sales calls, quickly identify the needs of your interlocutors and convince them why Coup is the right partner for them.
  • Commercial closing with R&D Consulting: You work hand in hand with our R&D Consulting team.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in B2B sales and you have owned a sales process end-to-end, from pipeline generation to contract closing.
  • You have built outbound end-to-end and were actively involved in closing, from designing sequences and messaging to operational execution via cold calling and cold emailing.
  • Tools like Lemlist and Dealfront are familiar to you.
  • You are hungry for new customers, proactively approach them and don't need external prompting.
  • You are quota-driven and experienced in commercially leading deals in the final stages, following up on proposals, handling objections and bringing contracts across the line.
  • You do not expect ready-made structures — you build them. You are prepared to think strategically and roll up your sleeves operationally. You work in a structured and independent manner.
