💰 $91,600 - $125,950 per year

About the role

  • Complete annual, quarterly, and monthly tasks to support reserve valuations and financial reporting requirements
  • Utilizes actuarial models and knowledge to consult and influence management towards courses of action that impact products/pricing, valuation, modeling, profitability, underwriting, administration, risk management, and markets
  • Builds actuarial assumptions and models using a variety of tools, including actuarial modeling software, data visualization applications, programming languages and Microsoft Office applications
  • Communicates results to direct management, verbally, in writing or in presentation form
  • Documents work according to actuarial standards of practice
  • Works towards actuarial designation from the Society of Actuaries.

Requirements

  • Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or combination of related experience, education and training
  • Most incumbents will have completed 3 - 5 exams/online courses
  • Actuarial designations or actively working towards them through the Society of Actuaries.
