Key responsibilities & impact

Protects and enhances the reputation of COUNTRY Financial through external communications.
Supports corporate vision, mission, objectives and values through external message planning, development and delivery.
Ensures the right messages get to the right external audiences.
Works closely with client advocacy, marketing, and legal stakeholders to support effective external audience messaging.
Establishes and maintains relationships with executive leadership and works closely with business leaders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training
Proven experience leading external communications or public relations strategies
Strong media relations and messaging expertise
Demonstrated ability to partner with executive leaders and cross‑functional teams
Excellent writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity, credibility, and brand consistency
Experience in regulated, corporate, or service‑driven environments; financial services or insurance experience preferred.
