About the role
- Protects and enhances the reputation of COUNTRY Financial through external communications.
- Supports corporate vision, mission, objectives and values through external message planning, development and delivery.
- Ensures the right messages get to the right external audiences.
- Works closely with client advocacy, marketing, and legal stakeholders to support effective external audience messaging.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with executive leadership and works closely with business leaders.
Requirements
- Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training
- Proven experience leading external communications or public relations strategies
- Strong media relations and messaging expertise
- Demonstrated ability to partner with executive leaders and cross‑functional teams
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity, credibility, and brand consistency
- Experience in regulated, corporate, or service‑driven environments; financial services or insurance experience preferred.
