About the role
- Evolve the underlying infrastructure architecture that supports core insurance platforms and services, partnering with engineering teams to ensure scalability, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency
- Build, manage, and optimize infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS services; automate provisioning, scaling, and deployment processes
- Develop and maintain observability solutions including logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting; own and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable production delivery
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to design infrastructure solutions, evaluate trade-offs, and experiment with new technologies
- Implement and maintain infrastructure security best practices including identity and access management, network segmentation, vulnerability scanning, and compliance monitoring
- Participate in on-call rotation to ensure uptime and performance of systems and services
Requirements
- A passion for infrastructure and developer enablement
- A love of building and experimentation
- 4+ years of experience with AWS
- 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes
- 3+ years of experience with Python
- 2+ years of experience with relational databases
- Experience with Terraform and Helm
- Fluency in automation
- Comfort digging in to application and service code
- Effective communication & documentation skills
- Experience working on a remote team
