About the role
- Design, implement, and manage all accounting policies and internal controls
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Manage all day-to-day finance functions
- Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and tax professionals
- Collaborate with the CEO and operations leads
- Select and implement scalable financial software and ERP tools
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- At least 4 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role
- Deep expertise in US GAAP
- Track record of managing complex financial operations
- Comfortable with ambiguity and building processes from scratch
- Uncompromising eye for accuracy
- Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
