About the role
- Lead and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with the institution’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Collect and analyze data with appropriate tools to convert business needs into manageable technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate and allocate resources effectively, managing project teams, and ensuring team members have the necessary skills and tools to succeed.
- Clearly document requirements & recommendations for complex technical projects and/or processes for reporting and presentation. Ensure enhancement and backlog requests are prioritized and organized efficiently.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success, addressing issues proactively and effectively.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are used efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to the Sr Manager of Project Management and other key stakeholders.
- Strong ability to identify insights, trends, and share learnings in concise and digestible ways to inform business decisions.
- Ensure project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Promote a culture of constant improvement, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing best practices in project management.
- Assist developer teams and/or vendor implementation leads in creating roadmaps and scopes of the project tasks. Challenge prioritization of user stories and issues logged to maximize resource utilization and overall project success.
- Perform and complete other tasks that may be assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management).
- Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a technical/business project manager role working with highly strategic initiatives.
- Experience with Anthology Student Information System (SIS), particularly in integrating Campus Nexus (SIS) - Anthology with a CRM. Strong understanding of how these systems connect and exchange data to support seamless student records, enrollment, marketing, etc. Preferred
- Must have up-to-date knowledge of technology systems & CRMs specifically that help teams centralize, track, and automate business processes for potential and current customers. Leadsquared experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven, compliance-oriented educational environment.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, strong work ethic, and professionalism.
- Persuasive and effective verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service in an educational setting.
- Motivated and goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills; able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent computer skills are required with proficiency in MS Office applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Slack, Smartsheet, and Teams. Jira experience is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel (local or overnight) as required by business needs or requested by a supervisor
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or relevant work experience.
