About the role

  • Develop, deploy, and manage AWS cloud services, including Lambda functions, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
  • Work with Python and Node.js for backend development and automation.
  • Design, build, and optimize cloud-based data pipelines using AWS Glue and crawlers.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to manage AWS environments.
  • Support and troubleshoot AWS cloud environments, identifying and resolving errors.
  • Optimize existing pipelines for performance, cost, and scalability.
  • Experiment with new cloud solutions to drive innovation within the organization.
  • Apply good design principles and system architecture best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a BS or MS program with a technology-related major.
  • Completion of at least 12 credit hours of relevant coursework.
  • Basic proficiency with AWS services, including Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, DynamoDB, and Athena.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and version control (Git/GitHub).
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent research and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
