About the role

  • Responsible for all aspects of development and implementation of assigned projects, providing a single point of contact for projects from tactical to large-scale strategic initiatives.
  • Drives projects from original concept and intake through final implementation and benefit enablement.
  • Partners and collaborates with stakeholders throughout the business, technology teams, and vendors or partners to gain consensus and drive towards success criteria.
  • Continually improves governance processes across projects and ensures consistent implementation.
  • Consult with management to determine goals, negotiate roadmaps, funding limitations, staffing requirements and allotment of resources.
  • Develop detailed project plans, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
  • Facilitate project team meetings; lead executive level reviews and read outs.
  • Forecast and manage actual project spend across capital and expense activities.
  • Partner with internal and external customers, business partners, and others to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs related to the project, driving results.
  • Mentor and motivate team members.
  • Guide other project managers, product managers and/or technical leads assigned to projects in adjacent teams.
  • Monitor deliverables of key milestones and effectively manage risk.
  • Collaborate across the organization to form mitigation strategies and protect delivery commitments.
  • Ensuring the offshore vendors/partners deliver to the contractual SLAs and SLOs post project implementation phase.
  • Ensuring SOPs, Run Books, Working Instructions and other required documentations are created and updated in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree is required.
  • 5+ years of experiences.
  • Ability to influence decision making across a variety of roles and levels in the organization.
  • Understanding of current technologies (i.e. Contact Call Center and SalesForce) and methodologies to plan and communicate effectively with project team and sponsors.
  • Leadership skills combined with proactiveness, determination and persuasion.
  • Proven track record of success with: Risk management.
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects or large projects with complex interdependencies.
  • Developing and managing complex project budgets.
  • Facilitating meetings with complex, cross functional and distributed teams.
  • Implementing project management methodologies, techniques, and tools and applying them to business and technical environments.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; explain business needs to stakeholders and team members.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on delivering value; the ability to reconcile conflicting demand and priorities, identify and evaluate options, pivot effectively.
