About the role

  • Support incoming phone calls and/or emails from service providers about their account within the SmartFees provider network, our partner relationships, and more.
  • Respond promptly to service provider phone calls and electronic inquiries
  • Work with providers on updating and maintaining their rate and fee information within our systems by team SLAs.
  • Effectively use the Rate Management Engine (RME), Order Management system and Salesforce
  • Interact with Support Team to collect utilization reports to make decisions and take necessary action
  • Supply feedback on service provider experience to management
  • Resolve escalated issues quickly and efficiently
  • Participate in regular meetings
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must have an Associate degree or College degree
  • 2+ years of experience in an applicable customer support role required, or relevant education in lieu of experience.
  • Great phone presence (personable, energetic, helpful, knowledgeable, confident and assured)
  • Comfortable making proactive outbound phone calls and sending proactive emails to existing customers
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • SalesForce.com experience a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (both speaking and listening)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work product and exudes pride in high quality work
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and with service providers across the nation
  • Ability to handle and meet deadlines while completing tasks in a timely manner
  • Can responsibly meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
  • Self-motivated, meticulous, flexible, ability to adapt, and a team player
  • Residential mortgage lending, appraisal, real estate, title or escrow experience and familiarity with RESPA, TILA and the home loan process preferred
