Medical writer

• Gain hands-on experience contributing to two to three projects concurrently, often across different teams
• Prepare medical education slides
• Perform systematic searches of medical literature
• Develop clinical trial manuscripts
• Assimilate clinical and cost-effectiveness evidence to support HTA submissions to NICE
• Work across Medical Communications, Value and Access, and Evidence Development service areas (including Rare Diseases, MedTech, Health Policy)
• Receive one-to-one training on technical aspects, project management, and client communication
• Hybrid work: office-based with ability to work from home one day per week
• Possibility to extend internship or apply for permanent Analyst/Medical Writer roles based on performance

Analyst/Medical Writer Intern

• You will take a leading role across a variety of medical communication projects, working alongside a team of excellent colleagues to ensure that projects are delivered to an exceptionally high standard
• Senior Medical Writers take a leading role across projects, providing strategic advice to clients, supervising the project team, and producing high-quality scientific content themselves
• Ensure projects are delivered to an exceptionally high standard and in line with agreed timelines
• Regular client communication, project planning, reviewing colleagues’ work, providing constructive feedback, scientific writing and contributing to business development by identifying new clients, writing proposals, and building and maintaining excellent client relationships
• Work closely with Boston-based Team Heads and other senior colleagues in the US and globally
• Work across different accounts spanning multiple disease areas and familiarize yourself with new information quickly
