About the role
- Assist the Accounts function with site account tasks as required, to ensure accurate and timely records.
- Reconcile creditor accounts, fuel charges, purchase cards and other similar administrative support duties.
- Record, process and investigate invoice queries and ensure a timely resolution.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Input cost journals in line with relevant procedures with appropriate approval and communication.
- Assist accounting team with month end processes, ensuring accurate recording of costs.
- Process allocated staff expenses in accordance with the Costain policy.
Requirements
- Relevant A-Levels or BTech qualifications
- Studying towards an accountancy qualification
- Future goal to start studying towards an accountancy qualification
