About the role
- Designing and planning for traffic management at temporary changes in risk on highways.
- Overseeing engineering using a risk-based approach.
- Supporting the Highways & Transportation Engineering design team.
- Conducting site visits to verify existing and proposed layouts.
Requirements
- (IHE) TTM Engineering Professional Certificate. (Level 4)
- NHSS 12 Traffic Safety Supervisor
- NHSS 12D M7
- NHSS 12 A/B
- First aid in the workplace training
- Conflict management training
- Safety Critical Medical
- Be on track or have achieved professional qualifications such as Chartership or Incorporated Status
- Educational experience relevant to their engineering discipline, ideally degree qualified to a 2:1 or better
- Secondary level education, such as A levels, BTEC, T levels etc
- Safety passport or similar
