About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Designing, developing, and overseeing enterprise CMDB and integration architectures within ServiceNow
Working closely with project leaders, technical teams, and stakeholders to define requirements
Designing end-to-end solutions and ensuring seamless integration between ServiceNow CMDB and CI/CD pipelines
Supporting optimal system performance and operational reliability
Customization of ServiceNow (SNow) CMDB
Designing enterprise-scale CMDB data models aligned with CSDM 5.0
Conducting discovery workshops for architecture building blocks
Documenting architectural decisions, constraints, and data models
Defining phased approaches for reusable building blocks across business applications
Deploying across structured ServiceNow environments (DEV/TEST/PROD)
Integrating data and processes between ServiceNow and DevSecOps processes
Mapping infrastructure and application resources
Designing integration flows and data models
Implementing integration mechanisms including APIs and event-driven ingestion mechanisms
Monitoring and logging data pipelines

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB customization
Deep understanding of CMDB modelling and CSDM 5.0
Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD processes
Experience with cloud DevSecOps platforms (AWS, Azure, or sovereign cloud environments)
Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code approaches, including:
AWS CloudFormation and equivalents
Event-driven automation (e.g., Lambda-style functions, event bridges)
Experience with on-prem DevSecOps tooling (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Docker, Python, shell scripting)
Strong background in enterprise system integration and API design
**Additional Desirable:**
Experience with large-scale DevSecOps environments across cloud and on-prem infrastructure
Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
Understanding of enterprise configuration management and asset discovery tools
Awareness of tooling such as ITOM discovery platforms and third-party CMDB enrichment sources
