About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Director of FP&A leads the financial cadence for budget planning, forecasting, and management reporting, delivering clear insights and decision support to the CFO, Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and Board of Directors (BOD).
  • Partner closely with functional leaders to drive accountability, evaluate investments, and support value creation through rigorous analytics, financial modeling, and scenario planning.
  • Responsible for elevating FP&A capabilities, reporting, and analytics to be commensurate with the size, scale and complexity of Cosette.
  • Focus on scalable processes, executive and board-ready reporting, dashboard analytics, and forward-looking risk identification.
  • Reports to the Senior Director of FP&A and works closely with the CFO to deliver high-quality planning, reporting, decision support, and technology-enabled finance capabilities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required; MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant FP&A leadership in Pharma preferred (budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and executive/board communication).
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, including scenario/sensitivity analysis and investment evaluation.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders through clear storytelling, executive-ready outputs, and strong business partnership.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint required; experience with ERP systems and planning/BI tools (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Power BI) strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated technology fluency, including experience with dashboard reporting, business intelligence tools, automation, and practical application of AI-enabled tools in FP&A or related finance environments.
  • Experience translating financial and operational data into executive-ready and board-ready reporting, with strong judgment around materiality, risk, and business implications.
  • Strong people leadership, project management, and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
