About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Write, optimise, and maintain SQL queries to extract data from relational databases
Build and run Python scripts to process, clean, and analyse datasets for specific business requests
Produce regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders across multiple business units
Partner with teams across the business to understand their reporting needs and translate business questions into data requirements
Validate data accuracy and investigate discrepancies
Document queries, processes, and findings so others can build on your work
Balance competing priorities and requests from different stakeholder groups

Requirements

What you’ll need

This is a mid level role and you’ll need some solid hands-on experience writing SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions, subqueries)
Proficiency in Python for data work (pandas, basic scripting, working with APIs or CSV/Excel data)
Experience producing reports for business stakeholders – gathering requirements, understanding the ask, and presenting findings back
Comfortable working across multiple business units or domains
Some exposure to SaaS environments – whether as a user, builder, or analyst
