About the role
- Own and drive LawConnect’s consumer growth strategy
- Set the vision for how we acquire, convert, and retain consumers at scale
- Build and manage a dedicated growth team of marketers, engineers, and data specialists
- Manage the teams currently overseeing SEM, SEO, and CRO
- Expand growth capabilities to drive the next phase of scale
- Define and execute the vision for how LawConnect becomes the go-to destination for legal help in Australia
- Build brand equity and consumer trust at scale
- Develop and execute the growth playbook for entering new international markets
- Build a culture of rapid testing, measurement, and iteration across all growth channels and touchpoints
- Partner closely with product, engineering, design, and commercial teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or related roles
- Proven track record of scaling consumer products — ideally taking a product from early traction to mainstream awareness and adoption
- Deep expertise across SEM, SEO, CRO, and paid acquisition, with a strong understanding of how these channels work together to drive efficient growth
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams of marketers, engineers, and data specialists working in service of growth
- Strong analytical depth — comfortable with funnels, cohort analysis, attribution modelling, and using data to inform strategy and prioritisation
- Fluency in AI tools and emerging growth technologies, with an eye for where new capabilities can create step-change improvements in acquisition and conversion
- Experience in high-consideration consumer categories where trust and clarity are critical to conversion (legal, health, financial services, or similar)
- International growth experience or a strong understanding of what it takes to expand consumer products into new markets
- Comfort with ambiguity and pace.
