About the role
- Take a leading role in designing and building critical features on our core platform.
- Lead deep technical design discussions, applying knowledge of scalable systems and different data modelling paradigms.
- Set a high bar for software quality and craftsmanship.
- Collaborate closely with product and AI teams to build robust, scalable backend systems.
- Act as a technical leader and mentor, sharing knowledge and helping to grow skills of the entire engineering team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in full stack web development using TypeScript.
- Strong expertise in generative AI and its applications.
- Strong systems and infrastructure fundamentals.
- Strong expertise in data modeling and databases.
- Hands-on experience designing or operating microservices or service-oriented architectures (even better).
- Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.) and cloud architecture (even better).
- Experience having been part of a team that evolved a monolithic application (even better).
