About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Process full-cycle payroll for assigned entities on a bi-weekly basis for an expanding workforce
Research and resolve payroll-related questions and issues; explain payroll policies and procedures and provide outstanding customer service
Verify and process employee expense reimbursements
Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external payroll tax-related inquiries and audits
Continuously drive improvements, automation, communication, and education to improve employee experience
Assist with implementing new payroll systems or updating existing systems to meet business needs
Upgrade processes and procedures as the company scales to integrate the latest technology

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of progressive payroll processing experience
Experience with multi-state payroll
Familiarity with new-state registration setup and compliance
Solid working knowledge of UKG; implementation experience is a plus
Aptitude to learn new systems
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
