About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process full-cycle payroll for assigned entities on a bi-weekly basis for an expanding workforce
  • Research and resolve payroll-related questions and issues; explain payroll policies and procedures and provide outstanding customer service
  • Verify and process employee expense reimbursements
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external payroll tax-related inquiries and audits
  • Continuously drive improvements, automation, communication, and education to improve employee experience
  • Assist with implementing new payroll systems or updating existing systems to meet business needs
  • Upgrade processes and procedures as the company scales to integrate the latest technology

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of progressive payroll processing experience
  • Experience with multi-state payroll
  • Familiarity with new-state registration setup and compliance
  • Solid working knowledge of UKG; implementation experience is a plus
  • Aptitude to learn new systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
