About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children
Utilize therapeutic approaches tailored to the needs of the client
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide wrap-around support
Attend family care meetings with other providers
Comply with clinic policies and state, federal, and licensing board laws/requirements
Maintain documentation and communication in line with legal, ethical, and company standards
Team members must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Arizona
Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field
Knowledge in a variety of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches including cognitive and behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy.
1 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
